Stolen Vehicle Recovery Services

CarSearch offers Stolen Vehicle Recovery Services with added benefits, specifically the provision of 24/7 island-wide signal monitoring by our Total Command Centre Monitoring Centre. 

Retrieve Only

This is the standard service offered to locate and recover stolen vehicles, whereby our 24/7 Total Command Centre has to be informed by the owner/driver when the vehicle is stolen. 

Retrieve and Alert

This system provides automatic signal alert to our 24/7 Total Command Centre even when the owner/driver is not yet aware the theft is in process.

Carjacking

This system addresses the problem where the vehicle is taken with the keys and there is no immediate telephone communication possible with our Total Command Centre. This is achieved by adding to The Theft – Auto System to the vehicle for manual activation via a panic button.

Hybrid Location Service

This is a combination of the CarSearch/ LoJack proven system for Stolen Vehicle Recovery, integrated with the company’s GPS system. This hybrid service is optimised for other applications such as asset and fleet management. ISSL/CarSearch will be able to monitor the asset using our 24/7 Total Command Centre, and respond accordingly in the case of any theft or other panic situation using our 24/7 armed security team

Monitored versus Un-Monitored

The main downside to an un-monitored security system is that the security system won’t actually do anything to stop the crime. With any system, CarSearch has the capacity to do the security monitoring and surveillance for the customer. Consequently, the customer does not have the burden of responding to an alert, CarSearch will evaluate the situation and reach out to emergency services on your behalf and deploy its in-house security team. With the customer being the sole point of contact, there will always be gaps in your home security, but with any CarSearch system, we can keep an eye on your asset and respond to alerts in real time.

THE ISSL/CARSEARCH PROPRIETARY RF NETWORK

All of our systems utilise our dedicated, solely owned proprietary, island-wide Radio Frequency (RF) network. This allows our in-house Total Command Centre to constantly monitor all security specific activities of our customers and our armed security to track the exact location of the vehicles and assets and act accordingly. Radio Frequency (RF) is more efficient than the GPS in terms of location-based services. Our reliable in-house network allows us more control over the safety of our customers.

Personal Security Service (PSS)

This is a small, high accuracy GPS/GPRS personal security device that transmits co-ordinates to our 24/7 Total Command Centre. This system allows 24/7 monitoring of the customer by the ISSL/ CarSearch Total Command Centre. This device also helps you, the customer, keep track of your loved ones and obtain their location and stay within voice communication if in a panic situation. Bonus: The device is small enough to fit in a purse, bag or backpack.

The system includes a Signal Transfer Unit or Panic Button, which works on our reliable dedicated network and is not dependent on a land line or mobile network.
